As of March 9, 2026, we are mobilized for emergency response and support after a fire on Casanova Street in Monterey that displaced approximately 90 residents. For monetary donations to be directed specifically to this cause, please use the information below and specify “Casanova Fire” in the comments on whichever donation platform you use.

Tangible donation items
SPECIAL NOTE regarding tangible donations for the evacuees of the Casanova fire: We have received an extremely generous amount of clothing and shoes from the community, and we are so grateful for the community support. We have paused accepting more until we sort through what we have received and can narrow down the specific needs of the individuals. Our Amazon wishlist (link below) is currently dedicated to these items specific to the current support of these families, and will be updated frequently as needs are fulfilled and new needs arise.
The items on the Amazon list are the only tangible donations we can currently accept for the fire evacuees. Otherwise, for our year-round operations, we are always in need and appreciate donations of laundry detergent, all cleaning products, shampoo, paper towels, toilet paper, and nonperishable/unexpired food items.
