All Things ALL-IN:

Deepest of gratitude to ALL our supporters and volunteers! Your contributions make it possible for ALL-IN to continue to pivot to address the most pressing community needs with direct and immediate support.

During our April celebration of ALL-IN’s one year anniversary, we reflect not only on the past week’s good works, but the series of challenges we have risen to meet during the last year with grace, with awkwardness, with learning, and with utmost care for our community.

From the initial COVID response to the August 2020 fire relief, from a re-invention of community holiday celebrations that were not substitutions and instead spectacular events, from partnerships with helping organizations, to being first-responders to ad hoc call-ups for kindness: We are ALL-IN!

Highlights this past week include:

Ongoing vaccination clinics – mobile, congregate housing and elsewhere

An ongoing bridge of kindness and support for families who lost their homes in the Harvest Street apartment complex fire in Salinas

An unexpected and most appreciated gift of diapers via Luke at My Local Thrive Monterey

Yay for the children’ activity kits from MyMuseum in partnership with TAMC

Steady assistance continues through our weekly Wednesday drive through food pickup, open to ALL and held at MPC from 3:30 to 5:00 and the ALL-IN Giving Market that opens for grocery shopping, Tuesdays and Fridays from 11:00 to 2:00 at Seaside High School.

A great troop of volunteers that accomplished ALL kinds of things on Saturday’s opening of the ALL-IN Kindness Closet. Thank you, United Way Monterey for sending us a trio of tremendous volunteers!
