All Things ALL-IN:

Just days after celebrating its first anniversary, ALL-IN hosted its first COVID vaccine clinic! Even better, more ALL-IN vaccination clinics are scheduled throughout Monterey County in the weeks ahead!

Monterey County Supervisor Wendy Root Askew connected ALL-IN with Central Avenue Pharmacy (CAPRx) of Pacific Grove. They provide the vaccinations and staff. ALL-IN is the organizer. It's a partnership that resulted in nearly 200 people receiving vaccinations today alone. As Supervisor Askew explains, "It's a matter of bringing vaccines to where people are ... making it easy, making them feel supported." CAPRx owner Dana Gordon is happy to be part of the solution, "As an independent pharmacy owner, my staff and I have the ability to pivot and act in situations like this."

The population ALL-IN is reaching includes hospitality workers, seniors, the un-housed (people living in shelters, encampments or as transients), congregate housing (for domestic violence survivors, those in addiction recovery, and respite) and special needs families.

After April 15, our goal is to hold high school clinics for 16-19 year olds (with their guardians). We feel this approach will give our younger residents and their guardians an opportunity to have any concerns answered in-person by Pharmacist Jasmine Chan.

A Double Eagle Big Thanks to Bayonet & Blackhorse for hosting ALL-IN’s inaugural vaccination clinic!

-Chris
